The Ballpark's footprint is on a 40 acre parcel that is part of a larger 250 acre parcel that in future years could become the home to the McHenry County Fair, a fire museum, and an exhibition hall that would provide for multiple uses including craft and trade shows,farmers markets,antique shows, and meetings. The McHenry County Community Foundation has served as a local convener during the planning process. The site is located on Route 14 across from the Centegra Hospital of Woodstock facility. Merryman Excavating of Woodstock has played a key role in the acquisition and development of the property for its future uses.
